Robust Supercardioid Dynamic Vocal Microphone.

This microphone is designed to provide excellent acoustic control even in large rooms, and its capsule is precisely tuned to ensure a lively, balanced sound as well as excellent isolation from the sound on stage.

The ND86 microphone's dynamic capsule contains a wide Mylar diaphragm that provides rich and detailed frequency response, combining its large tone-balancing area with lightweight material for exceptionally fast transient response.

The ND86 microphone capsule features an innovative shockmount system with four suspension points around its circumference, with a tuned pneumatic mount at the base of the capsule, which provides excellent noise reduction caused by "handling" by eliminating tuning machine vibrations and noise in the mix.

The ND86 microphone capsule employs a humbucking coil that attenuates electromagnetic interference and line hum.

ND series dynamic microphones can be safely used near speakers and electronics that generate electromagnetic fields.

The Memraflex grille of the ND86 microphone is made with a tight mesh screen that protects the microphone while increasing its robustness, use after use, year after year.

For additional protection, the microphone capsule contains a hydrophobic cloth membrane that prevents moisture and dust from reaching the diaphragm.
