The timbre of the gut has always been a constant point of reference for luthiers, composers and performers until the recent past

The development of a new synthetic product - both as a monofilament and as a multifilament for the basses - which had the same acoustic characteristics of the gut - but not the typical defects - such as the high cost, the short duration and the high instability at changes climate has therefore always been a fundamental point of our research work

The New Nylgut® finally represents the point of arrival allowing the rediscovery of the sounds that were familiar to Ukulele lovers of the first half of the twentieth century, as well as presenting excellent intonation stability, superior to that of the best Nylon strings
