Two-Rock Handcrafted Speaker Cables
Connecting your amplifier to your speaker cabinet demands a dependable, high-quality speaker cable. That’s why we now handcraft our own Two-Rock speaker cables, built with premium materials to ensure exceptional tone and reliability. These 3-foot cables are designed to deliver the performance your amp and cabinet deserve.
We offer both standard (in-phase) and reverse polarity (out-of-phase) options to match the phase of your amplifier and cabinet setup. Not sure which one you need? Here’s a quick breakdown from Eli Lester, CEO of Two-Rock Amplifiers:
"Most reverb amps are wired out-of-phase. At Two-Rock, we brought this to light by wiring our cabs out-of-phase as well—so they naturally match our reverb heads when using a standard speaker cable.
If your amp and cabinet are mismatched in phase, it’s completely safe. You won’t damage anything. The difference is very subtle—mainly a slight reduction in low end.
For example, take a Fender Deluxe Reverb or Super Reverb: plug into the NORMAL channel and it’s in-phase; plug into the VIBRATO (reverb) channel and it’s out-of-phase. You can hear the phase difference by switching between those two channels with the reverb turned off.
On our amps, engaging the FET flips the phase. Even switching to the middle pickup on a Strat will change phase. I obsessed over this for years, but now I rarely think about it. Live, I use the same few cabs regardless of phase—it’s that subtle. Sometimes I even prefer the sound of a mismatched setup."
