These instruments are designed to be maintenance-free. The pads are floating silicone, there are no corks or felts, and the springs are made of ingeniously engineered stainless steel spirals. Vibrato saxophones are made almost entirely from polycarbonate.

The body and keywork of the T1S III are made from solid polycarbonate. Thanks to its denser properties, the Vibrato T1S III offers better resonance and a more focused and projecting sound, while still delivering a warm and full-bodied tone.

The properties of this specific blend give the sax a brighter and highly attractive appearance.

A traditional brass saxophone is far more sensitive to maintenance and cleaning. The Vibrato T1-S III requires far less upkeep than a brass sax.

Please note: When playing this saxophone for the first time, the performer may notice that it requires slightly more finger pressure than playing a real saxophone with leather pads because of the self-sealing pads. The learning curve is slight and the performer must play this saxophone firmly.
