Eastman MD505 Classic

The Eastman MD505 is a traditional A-style mandolin with classic appointments and refined craftsmanship. It features a solid spruce top paired with solid maple back and sides, delivering a crisp, articulate tone ideal for bluegrass, old-time and folk music. The 13 7/8" scale length and 12" fingerboard radius make for a comfortable playing experience, while the ebony fingerboard and adjustable compensated ebony bridge offer excellent playability and tonal response. With pearl dot inlays, ivoroid binding, and a gloss finish, the MD505 has an elegant look to match its lively voice. Nickel hardware, a cast aluminum tailpiece, and Pingwell tuners complete the package, and it comes safely housed in a hard shell case.
