Offering the sound of a grand piano

This model offers the sound of a Yamaha concert grand piano, the CFIIIS-the origin of Yamaha's best concert grand pianos, the CFX. In addition, the P-145 features a pedal resonance function that reproduces the rich sound you hear when you press the damper pedal, for an even fuller sound.

Greater ease through dedicated app

By connecting the P-145 to Yamaha's dedicated "Smart Pianist" digital piano app, you can intuitively perform all operations on the P-145 from the screen of your smart device. You no longer need to pull out the manual to see how things work.

*When connecting a smart device to a musical instrument to use the app, you can use a cable or connect wirelessly using Yamaha UD-BT01 (sold separately; iOS only).

Push-button interface that makes it easy for anyone to use

This model uses physical buttons instead of a touch panel, making it easy for anyone to use the essential functions. Apart from piano sounds, we have carefully selected only the most frequently used sounds, including the sounds of keyboard instruments such as electric piano, harpsichord, and strings

Balanced and clear sound

The position and angle of the speakers on the back of the P-145 have been adjusted to reproduce as faithfully as possible the sounds reflected from the soundboard and lid of an acoustic grand piano even when the P-145 is placed against a wall.

The Smart Pianist app mentioned above comes with PDF sheet music of 303 classical practice pieces such as Beyer, Burgmüller, Czerny, Hanon and others, which you are free to view and use on the screen of your smart device.

Optional dedicated stand and three-pedal unit

For those who really want to play the piano instead of occasionally enjoying it on a table, we offer an optional L-100 stand and LP-5 three-pedal unit.

Use of the stand provides stability, proper height and posture when playing, and the addition of the sustain pedal allows you to enjoy a more authentic playing style

Easily record audio and video and upload your performance
