New PowerSpan dual-coil pickups with exposed polar expansions provide high output with greater clarity than ever before. A 3-way Power-Tap Switch system on the 3-band EQ creates 3 tone options: Tap mode (single coil) creates a punchy, dynamic sound with superior articulation. Series (humbucking) mode offers a full, warm sound, and finally Power Tap mode offers the best of both worlds, combining the sharpness of single coil with the fat low end of the humbucker. This allows for much more versatility. Along with the updated tone options, the SR line's core points have been retained: smooth and fast neck, lightweight body, and supreme comfort. All these features combine to create a truly impressive bass at a great price.
