Seymour Duncan SSL5 Custom Staggered Pickup White

The Custom Staggered is a special overwound single coil that creates a great balance between more power and classic Stratocaster tonal character. It will deliver bigger, fatter chords and cut through the mix more clearly than a traditional Strat pickup, while retaining the magic and mojo that make a Strat sound like a Strat. Single notes are bold and strong and solos really sing.

Use in the bridge position with a pair of staggered Vintage pickups in the neck and middle for the Gilmour-approved configuration. Use a custom RWRP staggered in the center for a quiet configuration in positions 2 and 4.

Coils are built with hand-ground, lacquered and wound Alnico 5 stem magnets and are waxed for squeak-free performance. We use modern oval Forbon forks (not triangular) that allow this pickup to fit any guitar routed for single coils
