The BP13 series features a class D amplifier design that offers far greater efficiency and performance, combining high power efficiency, output power and audio performance.  Amplifiers in this class are suitable for a wide range of high-end audio applications.  The efficiency of "Class D" is typically over 95% compared to 60% for a "Class AB" amplifier.  "Class D" wastes less energy (limiting the need for heat sinks); this allows smaller power supplies

Wireless playback!  MP Audio BP13 supports Bluetooth wireless listening allowing you to easily connect your smartphone to the speaker and enjoy music from your phone, with improved quality and higher volume. 

Check the rear panel of the speaker for more connectivity options.  It features XLR Line or 1/4" jack and RCA inputs with separate gain and equalization controls, as well as a Mix output.
