The beloved deep “C” profile of the neck remains, but with more rounded edges for a more comfortable feel moreoverthe neck has a new finish that feels more natural, for hours of frictionless music. Finally, the new heel on the neck provides a more ergonomic experience, allowing you to play with confidence in the upper register.

American Professional II hardware has also been updated: the bridges on all guitar models have been redesigned. The new asymmetrical neck plate has been beveled for greater comfort.

The recently introduced Double Tap ™ humbucking pickups perfectly complement our new V Mod II single coils .

The push pots enable special electronics, including additional pickup combinations, series/parallel operation and Double Tap ™ technology.

Roasted pine is now an added option in the series. Fender has been using pine since 1950 It is a light tone wood with a punchy, complex sound. With its well-defined grain pattern, Pine Roasted is as beautiful as it is musical
