The American Professional II series takes everything that made American Pro great and improves upon it.

It's kept everything guitarists loved and adds updated features to improve sound, playability and style.

The beloved deep "C" profile of the neck remains, but with more rounded edges for a more comfortable feel alsothe neck has a new finish that feels more natural, for hours of frictionless music. Finally, the new heel on the neck provides a more ergonomic experience, allowing you to play with confidence in the upper register.

American Professional II hardware has also been updated: the bridges on all guitar models have been redesigned. The new asymmetrical neck plate has been beveled for greater comfort.

The recently introduced Double Tap ™ humbucking pickups perfectly complement our new V Mod II single coils .

The push pots enable special electronics, including additional pickup combinations, series/parallel operation and Double Tap ™ technology.

Roasted pine is now an added option in the series. Fender has been using pine since 1950 It is a light tone wood with a punchy, complex sound. With its well-defined grain pattern, Pine Roasted is as beautiful as it is musical.
