The tambourine is equipped with 8 pairs of steel jingles with a diameter of 3.6 cm, arranged in a single row for a bright, clear tone. The durable natural skin head is mounted on a chrome-plated metal rim with 8 tensioning screws, allowing precise tuning.

It can be played by shaking, striking with the hand, or using a wooden beater.
