The MXR Micro Flanger is designed based on the sounds of the MXR M117 Flanger; similar in sound and controls to its big brother, but smaller and more convenient in size.
Originally released in the 1980s, this faithful recreation has the same features in two controls: a rate knob (Rate) to control cycling rate and a regeneration knob (Regan) to manage overall intensity.

True to the analog technology of the past to ensure a warm and organic tone, the Micro Flanger has been updated with a true bypass switch so that no guitar signal is lost during bypassing. The MXR Micro Flanger's timbres range from jet taking off to outer space type effects.
