Canare GS-4 is an ultra flexible instrument cable with an oxygen-free copper conductor and shield.

A stranded center core conductor with coaxial construction keeps GS-4 flexible even in sub-zero weather, and offers reduced microphonic noise, low capacitance and low resistance.

* Note: The GS-4 and GS-6 have a layer of carbon plastic shield underneath the braided shield (see Fig. 1) to block out noise. Shorting will result if this shield contacts the center conductor line, so special care must be taken when connecting the cable.
