Inspired by the legendary 1936 Gibson J-35, the Eastman E6SS-TC reimagines one of the most iconic acoustic guitar shapes in history, blending tradition, craftsmanship, and tonal innovation.

This classic-looking slope shoulder dreadnought is built with all-solid tonewoods: a Thermo-Cured solid Sitka spruce top and solid mahogany back and sides, delivering a warm, full-bodied, and perfectly balanced tone. The mahogany neck with a Traditional Even "C" profile ensures smooth, natural playability, while the precise construction and refined finishes complete an instrument designed for discerning players.

The Thermo-Cure process is an advanced thermal treatment applied to the spruce top. The wood is “baked” in a controlled, oxygen-free environment, eliminating moisture, oils, and natural resins. This changes the wood's physical and acoustic properties, resulting in a top that is lighter, more stable, and less affected by climate changes, while also providing enhanced response and dynamics. The tone is open, warm, and rich—reminiscent of vintage guitars that have matured over decades. In essence, Thermo-Cure fast-tracks the natural aging process, giving the guitar a seasoned, "played-in" sound right out of the box.
