The Frisell is a neck humbucker pickup with lower output than our LRP. This custom pickup was originally made for Bill Frisell's two Collings guitars.
The Frisell offers superb clarity, balanced EQ, and impeccable note separation. Combining it with the Signature bridge pickup delivers a blend of tone that is both clear and articulate, while retaining hair, bloom, and PAF character on the neck. Between the two, there are many different tonalities to discover either alone or together.
The Frisell neck pickup + Signature bridge pickup combination is one of Ron's favorite sets, thanks to the balance and extension offered by the two pickups.
