The Joyo BanTamP Bluejay is a compact 20 W guitar amplifier head featuring hybrid technology, combining a tube preamp with a Class D power amp. It is the ideal solution for players looking for a small, easily portable amplifier that still delivers the warm, dynamic character of real tubes, along with a wide range of features designed for home use, studio recording, or small gigs.

The preamp section is equipped with a 12AX7 tube, while the solid-state power section ensures reliability and efficiency. The integrated FX loop allows time-based and modulation effects—such as phaser, flanger, chorus, delay, and reverb—to be placed after the overdrive section, keeping the sound clear and well-defined without unwanted muddiness.

The CLEAN channel offers excellent pedal compatibility, making the Bluejay extremely versatile and an outstanding pedal platform, especially in situations where a full-size amp head would be impractical or cumbersome.

The amplifier features an 8 Ω speaker output, but it can also operate with 16 Ω cabinets, albeit with reduced output power. Despite its compact size, the 20 watts deliver surprising volume; for silent practice, a headphone output with speaker emulation is included.

To complete the package, Bluetooth connectivity allows easy pairing with smartphones or tablets to play backing tracks directly through the amp, making it perfect for practice, studying, and learning new songs.
