The EVH 5150 III LBX-S is a compact 15-watt tube head that blends the soul of the LBX I with the aggressiveness of the LBX II. It combines the Green (Clean) channel and the Red (Full Burn) channel to offer a sonic range from crystal clear cleans to a modern, saturated overdrive, perfect for fiery leads and scratchy rhythms.

Equipped with four JJ ECC83S (12AX7) preamp tubes and two JJ EL84 power tubes, the LBX-S is capable of delivering a rich, defined and dynamic sound with authentic tube response even at low volumes. Thanks to the 3.5-watt power reduction switch, you can achieve stadium saturation even at apartment volumes.

Independent gain and volume controls for each channel, along with Presence and Resonance controls, allow you to sculpt your tone with precision, while the built-in effects loop ensures maximum flexibility for pedals or rack units.

The “Stealth Black” design with steel/aluminum chassis is not only rugged and durable, but also aesthetically aggressive, in true EVH style. A single-button footswitch for instant channel changing completes the package.
