Double Mallet for Tibetan Camapane - Siging Bowls or Timpani
Two in One: The SELA Double Mallet features two different large felt balls at its ends for playing sound beats, small gongs or timpani.
This drumstick, made of sturdy beech wood, is twelve millimeters thick, while the two hard felt balls are four and five centimeters in diameter, respectively. With an overall length of 40 centimeters and a weight of 68 grams, the SELA Double Mallet offers a pleasant and well-balanced feel.
With timpani, the SELA Double Mallet produces a powerful and very defined tone. Depending on which end you play the instrument with, resonance and volume can be metered excellently
It is therefore recommended not only for percussionists, but also for drummers who wish to use different sounds. In addition, the SELA Double Mallet is ideal for quick changes in dynamics, as you only need to turn the mallet to switch from quieter to louder passages (or vice versa).
